Roles and Responsibilities

The Carpenter Foreman is responsible for coordinating job tasks, monitoring laborer performance, supervising crew and subcontractors and ensuring jobs are completed on schedule.

They should have strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction, remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, structural elements, inspections, specifications, quality control, cost control, M.E.P and safety.

The Carpenter Foreman should be Proficient at the following tasks: stain-grade trim work, drywall – metal studs, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, concrete formwork, demolition and build outs, painting, and service work. This person should be highly skilled, have a knowledge of all trades and be ready to work!

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Three years of construction experience
  • Three years of trade experience, carpentry preferred
  • Ability to perform construction-related activities for prolonged periods in adverse weather conditions.
  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have own tools and Vehicle

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to read blueprints/building plans, compile pricing for bid packages, compile estimate for value engineering
  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort (Handling average weight objects up to 80 pounds)

  • Knowledge and proficiency with project management and estimating software are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year


  • 12 hour shift

  • Weekend availability
